Wir wuenschen frohe Weihnachten, und ein gutes Neues Jahr.
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 430 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 7 trips to carry that many people.
Christopher’s team has played 5 games, and won all of them. The Pilots started the season beating the Orioles 15:10, followed by victories over the Mariners (18:7), Chiefs (18:3) and Colonels (10:9). Today’s game featured 2 undefeated team, and the Pilots came out on top 10:5 against the Seals. So Pilots are 5 and 0 and on top of the standings. Christopher has been solid at the plate, as well as behind the plate catching most of the innings.
Great job Pilots, and awesome job Christopher. Next game isn’t until May 28, so a very loooong rest/break.
Getting ready for a nice brunch to celebrate Elizabeth’s 80th birthday. Will post some pictures later.
Trying out this new look, not sure yet if I like it enough to stick with it. Wordpress offers so many themes, it is hard to pick one. So over the next week or so, I’ll be trying out different themes and lay-outs. If there is one you like, I would appreciate it if you let me know.
Next week is college experience week for us, I am taking Alexander to several colleges to see what he likes and doesn’t like. I will post my impressions here, in the hope that it will help him remember the pros and cons of the places we will have visited.
Wow, just realized how long it’s been since my last blog entry, and I really should be posting more content. With Spring finally here, I am sure I can provide some sports updates from the kids, and our Summer vacation is only 4 months away, so I will be sure to post pictures and news from that as well.
For now, I resolve to post at least weekly, and hopefully more frequently. Below a picture from our trip to Cancun in February.
Cape Cod, get ready!

Broke down and spent $300 on a 12,000 BTU air conditioner, and I think this might be the best $300 investment of the year. With temps in the high 90’s, and inside the house at 92 degrees, I think we should be sleeping well tonight!
